abandoned in hotel rooms (sorry, planet!). It was frustrating.
Then Stephan shared a story about a corporate event he hosted that completely changed the paradigm. I was inspired! Workplace
gifting was broken, and we had to fix it. Not with tweaks, but a revolution. We wanted radical impact.

Proudly punking up the gifting scene from Munich, Germany. Our backyard has the Bavarian Alps, world-class breweries, and a spirit of innovation, kind of like us - minus the lederhosen. Being in the heart of Europe lets us tap into an incredible network of local creators and sustainable brands who share our mission: transforming workplace relationships while protecting the planet we call home.
Why we started
Let's be real – workplace gifting was broken. Uninspired presents gathering dust. Resources wasted on items nobody wants. Relationships that could've been strengthened left lukewarm instead. We saw companies pouring money into gifts that didn't land, and we thought: enough. GiftPUNK is our radical solution to transform how businesses show appreciation. Because when gifting is done right, it builds stronger teams, supports local communities, and keeps our planet breathing easier. No compromises
Meet the first GiftPUNKs
Balbir Blugan
Balbir has spent a long time working in business development over the last two decades. This means a lot of client and partner gifting experiences (both giving and receiving). She is determind to find ways to reduce waste in our day to day life at work. Balbir also knows that most companies want to drive better buying behaviours and that buyers want to support these priniciples, but simply don't know where to start looking, and so together with Stephan she co-founded GiftPUNK. We're here to help!
Stephan Buchner
After rocking senior marketing roles at both small companies and tech giants, Stephan witnessed firsthand how corporate gifting can seriously miss the bullseye. Now he's leading the gifting revolution, transforming workplace relationships through radical impact. Armed with sustainable business strategy wisdom from Harvard Business School and a burning passion to eliminate gifting waste, he's on a mission to make every business gift count.
