The Cosma Loose Fit Shirt was created by Cornelia Kauhs, founder of Breath of Fire. Cornelia wanted an easy, adaptable essential — a piece that brings softness, coverage and freedom of movement to slow practice and everyday life. A discreet ribbon hidden inside the hem lets you adjust the shape: leave it loose for a flowing silhouette, or tie it in for a more defined line at the hips.

Honestly made — the story behind our Evolve collection

This piece comes from our Evolve collection — and there's a small story behind it. In 2019, when Covid disrupted supply chains, our family atelier in Portugal lost access to certified organic cotton. To keep the brand alive and honour our promise to natural fibres, we found a wonderful partner workshop in Turkey — fully solar-powered, certified, and run with the same ethical care we hold dear. We were genuinely happy to produce there.

Today, we have returned to our original Portuguese family atelier for the rest of our collections. The human warmth, the respect for skilled Portuguese artisans, and the quality we find there is something we have not seen anywhere else in the textile industry — and that's where our heart remains. Since 2009.

Material: 68% bamboo viscose + 28% organic cotton + 4% elastane.

Size guide

Between two sizes? The Cosma has a loose-fit cut — the smaller size keeps a closer-to-the-body drape, the larger one a more relaxed flow.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. Air dry flat, no tumble dryer. The bamboo–cotton jersey settles beautifully with each wash.
